  • Do I need to have an Arabic background to start Level II?

    If you know the Arabic letters and how to read them with the vowels, you are all set for Level II.

    In this course, we will start with a recap of Level I to ensure you have all the vocabs from Level I in hand!

  • Are books required for the course?

    Yes the course requires book. Mr Abdeltawwab has thought multiple curricula for Arabic. He found this particular curriculum is the best so far and is also Certified by the Arabic Language Academy in Egypt.

    It applies sequential lessons and facilitates your learning. There are also homework that you need to complete.

  • Where do I get the books and is it included as part of the course fee?

    You have to purchase the books separately as it is sold by an independent publisher. So the book cost is not included in the course fee.

    Once you sign up, we will provide you with the information to purchase the book.

  • Are the classes live or recorded?

    The main contents are recorded sessions which allow you to learn at your own pace. They include different learning approaches: explanation by the course directors, audio lessons, quizzes, exercises etc. These lessons are also packed with tips and formulas to understand certain rules in a logical manner.

    The live sessions will be on the last Saturday of each month at 1pm Kuwait time where you can clarify and ask questions. Recordings of the live sessions will also be available.

  • What if I already knowledge in Arabic, may i join higher levels?

    We highly recommend that you start with Level II because otherwise you will miss out on a lot of vocabulary and rules. At the end of Level II you will have 237 vocabs covering different terms and numbers.

    Nonetheless if you feel you want to jump straight to higher levels, we will ask you to take the exam for level 2 and determine from there. Please contact us at [email protected] to discuss.

  • Is there an exam at the end of the course?

    Yes there is an exam at the end of the course. We will provide a review lesson and study guide to help you prepare.

    Once you pass (at least 70%) you will be issued a Certificate of Achievement.

Abdeltawwab Moustafa

Senior Arabic Course Director

Abdeltawwab is a native Arabic speaker. He holds a degree from the Faculty of Education from Al Azhar University and a professional Diploma in Teaching Methodology from Ain Shams University.

Abdeltawwab has taught 32 "Arabic for Foreigners" courses (580 hours) for more than 150 English-speaking adult learners. In preparation for that role, he completed a 60-hour certification program from the European Observatory of Teaching Arabic Language (Al-Marsad) in cooperation with the Center for Computer and Management Studies (CAMS).

The program covered areas including, but not limited to, the study of linguistics and applied linguistics, educational theories and methodologies of teaching and learning languages in general and for Arabic specifically as a foreign language. It also covers methods and theories of student engagement, criteria for choosing Arabic curricula, creating assessments, and applied methods.

His success as an instructor is evidenced by the high return rate of his students across several levels.
